The Story Behind This Design

In 1936, Austrian-Jewish graphic designer Franz Krausz, a Zionist immigrant who had recently arrived in Palestine, created the iconic "Visit Palestine" poster. Commissioned by the Tourist Development Association of Palestine, the artwork promoted tourism while supporting the broader Zionist vision of encouraging Jewish immigration to Mandatory Palestine.

Nearly ninety years later, we reimagined this historic artwork.

Our version places the Israeli separation wall in front of Jerusalem, replacing the open landscape with a barrier that reflects the reality experienced by many Palestinians today. The words "LAND OF PALESTINE" painted across the wall symbolize that while walls may divide the land, they cannot erase its history, identity, or the people who belong to it.
