This page explains how to delete your account for The Kufiya Shop, including accounts used on our website and The Kufiya Shop mobile app.
Delete your account in the app
Open The Kufiya Shop app and sign in. Go to:
Account → Edit → Edit Profile → Delete account
Follow the instructions shown in the app to submit your deletion request.
Delete your account without the app
If you no longer have access to the app, email us at thekufiya@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account.
Use the subject:
Delete my account
We may ask you to confirm your request from that email address before processing it. You do not need to install or open the app to request account deletion.
What we delete
When your deletion request is completed, we delete or erase your customer account and personal information associated with it where applicable, including your name, email address, phone number, saved addresses, and saved wishlist.
You may also request deletion of marketing contact information and product reviews associated with you.
What we may keep
Certain records, including order, payment, and tax records, may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, transaction, or regulatory purposes. Where applicable, personal information associated with retained records will be erased or redacted.
How long it takes
We aim to complete account deletion requests within 30 days. Some requests, including accounts associated with previous or recent orders, may require additional processing. We will inform you if additional time is required.
